Let's Ditch Misophonia Community Terms & Conditions

By joining the Let's Ditch Misophonia Community membership, I understand and agree that my card will be charged each month, every 6 months, or once every year, depending on the membership plan I select to enroll in. I understand I can cancel my monthly membership at any time. Canceling a monthly membership will result in termination of membership at the start of what would be the next charge date. Example, if you signed up for the membership on January 1, 2024 and cancel the membership on January 14, 2024, your membership will terminate on January 31, 2024. I understand I can cancel my 6-month or annual membership anytime before the renewal charge is processed.

I understand that if I decide to cancel my membership, I will lose access to the membership Kajabi portal, private FB group and others offers associated with the membership. If you joined through a promotional period that included the Roadmap To Misophonia Relief Masterclass, you will still retain access to this masterclass portal.

To cancel my membership, I understand I can email Brooklyn Disch LLC at [email protected] or can cancel through the portal inside Kajabi.

I understand that the membership fee can change at any time, and that if a change in monthly, 6-month or annual fee occurs, that I will be notified via email and an announcement in the FB community and Kajabi portal, before this change in price goes into effect.

I understand that Brooklyn Disch LLC reserves the right to remove anyone for any reason from the Let's Ditch Misophonia Community, should they deem it necessary. Partial refunds will be given for 6-month and annual memberships, depending on the length this person has been enrolled in the membership. Removing members is reserved for those disrupting and disrespecting themselves or others in the community. 

I understand that by joining the community, I will receive access to the Let's Ditch Misophonia Community portal in Kajabi, the private Facebook community, a live group Q&A call each month if I am able to attend at the time it's held, recording of that live group Q&A call if I'm unable to attend the live and/or to rewatch, and monthly resource(s) like meditations, workbooks, etc. each month.

If a member of the community has a dispute with one or more members, the member shall release Brooklyn Disch LLC from claims, demands and damages (actual or consequential) of every kind and nature, known and unknown, arising out of or in any way connected with such disputes.

I agree that I am 18 years of age or older, or if I am under the age of 18, I have expressed permission from a legal guardian to join the community. Brooklyn Disch LLC is not responsible for verifying the age of those who join the Let's Ditch Misophonia Community, and shall not be held liable if anyone under the age of 18 is found joining the community without consent. Brooklyn Disch LLC will though, remove members from the community if they find someone has joined by violating these terms & conditions.

I understand that this community is not designed to treat or diagnose psychiatric, psychological, or medical concerns or issues. I also understand that the results from this community can vary between individuals. This community is created for self-development purposes only. This community is not a substitute for normal medical care and I have been advised to discuss this community with any doctor who is taking care of me now or in the future. I understand I may seek additional resources outside of the community if needed, and that Brooklyn Disch, the coach, is not a licensed therapist or counselor. They are a coach, coaching for the purposes of self-development only. I understand this community can trigger emotional states and may unearth some trauma, and am responsible for my own well-being and will seek crisis resources if I need them. Having a therapist available to you while participating in this community is a great pairing. I recognize that while Brooklyn Disch LLC protects and respects confidentiality, any statements made that indicate the jeopardy of a student’s safety may be reported to appropriate parties. I am willing to be guided through relaxation, visual imagery, creative visualization, hypnosis, and stress reduction processes and techniques for the purpose of vocational or avocational self-improvement in this community. I understand that this community, resources and the live calls are not a substitute for normal medical care and I have been advised to discuss this community with any doctor who is taking care of me now or in the future. Additionally, I should continue any present medical treatment and consult my regular medical doctor for treatment of any new or old illnesses. 

I understand Brooklyn Disch LLC does their best to foster a confidential environment within the private Facebook group assiociated with the Let's Ditch Misophonia Community, and also that Brooklyn Disch LLC is not responsible for any content that may be shared against the Facebook group rules by any of its members. Brooklyn Disch LLC will do their best to remove any members in violation of this agreement.

Brooklyn Disch LLC, and Brooklyn Disch, may use comments, screenshots, shares, etc. from the group for marketing purposes on social platforms and in emails, but will only use first names, if attaching any names at all. Brooklyn Disch LLC will request permission from members if they wish to share any statements with photos of members or their full names. Members may decline this request.
